• Global Gallery-How do I add a photo to my Global Gallery Exhibit?
When you have created an Exhibit each time you go to 'Submit Artwork' under the 'My Artwork' section, you will have the option to 'Add to an Exhibit?' from there you should be able to choose from all the exhibits you have created.
• Events-How can I tell if an event is fake?
While there are volunteers at TakingITGlobal who regularly approve events and we do take certain measures to protect our members from fraudulent events, it is difficult for us to identify all fake events. In addition, TakingITGlobal does not actually run the events listed on our website so you should contact the event organizer. You can find the listing of events by searching for the event using this link:

• Joining-How can I get more involved with TakingITGlobal?
There are many ways to get involved with TIG! If you wish to be a more active member of our online community, you could try one of our programs. For example, you could start a blog or join a discussion group, or you could send us your write ups and artwork to be published in Panorama or in our Global Gallery. If you would like to become even more involved why not start or join a project, or connect with more members from around the world? If you wish to find out more about the programs and services offered by TIG, you should visit our Site Map, where you will be able to browse the website by its categories.

• MyTIG-How do I delete my profile from TakingITGlobal?
To delete you profile please email info@Takingitglobal.org with a message indicating that you would like to be removed from TakingITGlobal. Also, if you don’t mind sharing, could you also include any reasons as to why you left TakingITGlobal? We're always looking for ways to make the online experience better for all members! Please be patient if you do not receive a response about the termination of your account immediately. We receive many different kinds of requests via e-mail and have limited staff to respond to them.
• MyTIG-How do I manage my subscription to Dispatch?
You can manage your Dispatch subscription by going to “Edit Profile” and scrolling down to the Email settings heading. There you will see a drop down menu beside “TIG Dispatch” where you can select to receive an HTML or Plain Text version of Dispatch. You can also select “both” if you would like both versions or select “Neither” to unsubscribe to Dispatch. TheThe Dispatch is available in multiple languages. If the language that you have chosen as 'Preferred' in your profile is a language the Dispatch is available in - than you will receive the Dispatch in that preferred language. The languages the Dispatch is available in may change depending on the structure of our translation team, but it is generally available in: French, Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, Russian, Italian, and Portuguese.
• MyTIG-How can I remove unwanted friends?
You can edit your friends list by clicking “Edit Profile” which is located on the top right hand corner of the home page. While you are in your profile page click the tab labeled "Friends," there you will be able to see all the people you have listed as a friend and all the people who have listed you as a friend. To remove yourself from their friends list simply select "remove me."
• MyTIG-I have hidden my public profile so how come my profile is still searchable on Search Engines?
The reason your name still displays while searching on Google is because they save what is called a "cache" of all web pages on the internet. Until they refresh their saved version of our web page, which can take up to a few weeks, it will still be searchable using Google and unfortunately, we do not have control over this. Once you have updated your profile to make your profile page private, you can visit this page to request that Google refresh it more quickly: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/removals
• MyTIG-How can I manage my profile so that it will not show up in search engines?
To hide your profile so that it is only viewable by other TakingITGlobal members select “Edit Profile” which is located on the top right hand corner of the homepage. Under the
“Basics” tab select the check box called “Hide Public Profile?”
• TakingITGlobal-What do you mean by youth?
By youth we usually mean young adults aged 11-31. but we not restrict membership by age because intergeneration dialogue is very important for sharing knowledge and gaining understanding.
It should also be noted that for privacy reasons, TakingITGlobal restricts public profile informations for those under the age of 16.
• TakingITGlobal- What is TakingITGlobal?
TakingITGlobal is an international organization which is led by youth and empowered by technology. TakingITGlobal recognizes and supports youth as both content creators and as a force for change. The organization’s flagship program, TakingITGlobal.org, utilizes Web 2.0 community tools to serve as a platform, a “social network for social good,” to engage young people in local and global issues. Over seven years, TakingITGlobal’s free user-friendly online community has provided a safe and advertising-free space where youth are able to participate in cross cultural dialogue, access opportunities, educate themselves on local and global issues and express themselves through various multimedia.
TakingITGlobal works with global partners such as UN agencies, major corporations, foundations
and other youth organizations including, Youth Employment Summit,Global Youth Coalition on HIV/AIDS and Global Youth Action Network. These partnerships and collaborations coupled with TakingITGlobal’s online community serve to build the capacity of youth for development, artistic and media expression, make education more engaging, and involve young people in global decision-making.

• Organizations-I have recently submitted an Organization to TakingITGlobal’s organizational profile why has it not been posted yet?
